4,000 miles on a '03 RK? It needs some miles. Hardly broke in good.

Yep, my '07 RK Classic is bone stock so far. I've had it since March and have 3400 miles on it. Bet I'll beat ya to 4100 miles!
J/K ride that thing!

I think you need to take a good look at your ride and seewhat youwant toadd to it. Ride a lot add the miles. Then add a little until you make it you own. Check out other rides see what you like ,what works for you .The best thing you can do is add the miles and enjoy it I have an 2003 RKC got in Dec added new ,seat ,backrest ,some chome here and there ,PClll , new slip-ons, A/F,all new extended peds, grips and a lot of miles ,now Ijust need to change out my bars and then I think I,m done ( MAYBE)
Good luck with you new ride !!

Chrome controls, wires inside the bars, stainless cables and brake lines are great cosmetic changes, IMHO.

Cruise control if you are going to do much Interstate-type riding.
