you're from e texas, i'm in la, so 90 degree weather for us is 'winter'. the op is in wi, so i'll cut him a little slack. but there is no way that i would have lost that much riding time (esp as limited as it is up there) due to a radio issue. just keep it turned off and go...
Gormy, did you have any problems similar with your stock HK? Is that why you replaced your OEM radio? If your handlebar controls are funky you would think you'd see similar with the stock HK.

90 degrees in LA is not the same as 90 degrees in the South. We have humidity that makes 90 degrees feel like Satan's living room. I spent four years in Arizona where 90 degrees was comfortable but now live in South Carolina where May to late October is pure misery.
