I have a 04 FLHTCI and I was wanting to swap out with the SE Spun Alum gauges but also wanted to use an Oil Temp gauge.. I have the Rodger Mc Ewan black gauge now - Well, I found out from a forum member here that the spun alum gauges were being made - took awhile but I finally did find the guy that made the gauge that I have now,,, seem he moved.. For those of you that have the SE Spun Aluminum gauge or are thinking of going that route... Dump that worthless Air Temp for a nice looking Oil Temp,,, Give Rodger a call,,, Tell him the Turlock Fire Fighter sent ya.. His Customer service is great and you will be talking to the guy that designed the gauge...

Or you can move the volt gauge to where the usless air temp one was and put your new oil temp gauge there! So you can worry about it more without taking your eyes too far off the road. But the only time you'll need to worry is when your stopped in traffic. Ask me how I know....

anyone on this forum have a Temp guage - then installed an oil cooler - This would be the only way to really tell how well they work...

In Ca, lane spliting is legal if done in a safe manor - the cops will not bother you unless you are being an *** about it.. and yes I have had crotch rockets split lanes on me at well over the posted limit... but in heavy traffic - it is a blessing here... just got to watch your clearance - better than just sitting there and smelling your engine cook...
