Default Changing to Corbin Seat

I purchased a 2018 Ultra Limited CVO and have taken 2 long trips on the bike. The seat is awful and after much thought I've decided to go with the Corbin Seat replacement complete with heater. Has anyone ever removed the passenger backrest and have any tips?

Thanks.

Corbin makes awesome seats, I'm on my 6th.

Removing and installing the passenger backrest is fairly simple with only 3 bolts. Open the tourpack lid, support the lid, remove the nuts and you're done. Install in reverse order using hardware from Corbin. Just take your time and be careful around your paint.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds easy enough. Did you change to a Corbin on your Ultra?

I have a Corbin with the factory backrest, it doesn't match but I deal with it for what a Corbin backrest costs.

Thumbs up

My bike is an older model, but I also have Corbin seat and tourpak backrest. They match and installation is easy!

I would spring the few extra dead presidents for the fire and ice. The AC is wonderful!

I considered the fire and ice but the only problem I see is the heat is on/off for both riders. My wife always has hers on and I rarely use mine.

Kinda off topic but are you interested in selling the stock seat? and is it heated?
