Hi! Anyone who knows the supplier/manufacturer of HD´s audio components? Who is behind the hardware they fit originally? Be it the OEM stuff or that stage I or II upgrades (ie amps and speakers)?
Here they charge you about 2k USD on a stage 2 upgrade (front fairing only).
I own a 2015 Street Glide and just figure which manufacturer (eg Rockford Fosgate) I should pick and whether it makes sense to just upgrade the speakers (eg RF TMS65) then still powered by that standard Boom main device - or whether its worthwhile investing that RF Amp (TM400x4ad or 2 Channel TM400x24ad) coming together in that HD14-TKIT including installation panels and harness.
Thanks for your comments (though it doesn't really fit in this thread - however I found nothing on that above RF stuff in this forum)
Cheers, Kristian

Thanks very much Look Out. That tells me that the iPod interface takes up the slot my bluetooth module is in. So if I am understanding things correctly I couldn't run the bluetooth module AND the iPod module at the same time. If anyone knows if that can be done please chime in.
Styledriver it would probably be best to start a new thread with your details. Most folks will advise you to go aftermarket. Generally cheaper and better sounding than the Boom stuff.

Does anyone know if the RF PAUX will fit the gas tank console comm port? I want to buy the radio and use this as a means to play music off my memory stick.

Thanks for the detailed review and photos, very informative. I have A 2011 Ultra and have been looking at this radio. I can live without the intercom and CB, was mainly interested in plug and play as well as the handle bar control functionality. Disappointing that the AVC is lost. I take it no splicing of wires for the most part, controls (volume, mode, next song) and all 4 speakers work? Really nice option but a bit pricey, hopefully it will come down a bit at some point.
The Aquatic AV MP5 - took a ton of reading to find that it requires wire splicing to get rear speakers to work, that's not something I want to do to my bike.
Also the handlebar controls work w/ this unit- helpful.
