Default Question about windex

I have a denim black road glide and have read many things about windex for cleaning. My question is when you wash your denim with windex, do you rinse it off with water? Or is it good just to clean it with windex and leave it? Thanks

This has already been discussed in this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/powdercoat-and-paint/1139204-denim-paint-use-windex-with-or-without-amonia.html

Trust me, I read through that post and not once was it discussed if you wash or rinse with water afterward. So my question still stands, do you treat windex like a soap and rinse it off afterwards or do you just use it like the harley product spray clean and polish?

I have Denim Bikes and use foam glass cleaner with no ammonia on mine. Never had and issues. After washing in between washes when you get a little dust or what have you . Use glass cleaner and leave it on after no harm. It just evaporates. The foam kind IMO will not dry as fast and you can see where it is to wipe it down.

In reference to there being other posts about the subject. You're Damned if you reply on a old *** post some one will bitch that you are reviving and old *** post, or if you start a new post.

Point is that the question(s) have almost certainly been answered in these old thread. No need to resurrect.

With the amount of money these bikes cost, why not use products DESIGNED for matte finishes?
Lots of quality stuff out there that is made for this.
Windex and Pledge. Ill never understand this.

Ah the joys of riding a primered bike. And I second the sentiments about Windex and Pledge, seriously people...
