They ( bags ) look okay in the picture, might be different in person

Yeah wife is pretty good artist with the kiddos! I figured someone would notice that. The bags in the picture look better than in person. In person the bags are more bright white than my factory color. The bike looks way better with the stretched bags and new style lids just got to get them color matched from a painter.

Cool , what about pin striping it might make the color difference less noticable

Not as much of a deal if you have them painted. I just bought a Hogworkz stretched tank that was just primered, 650$ for paint.

Bike looks good. Yeah I will get mine paint matched so they will be perfectly matched. I would guess probably a few hundred to get them done. Yeah I will be adding the pin stripe so it flows the same.

Yeah I am half tempted to it’s not that far off but it is different. A simple color would have been easy to match and find bags for.

I went with the Advanblack stretched bags; chopped tour pak and love them. There's a dedicated Advanblack FB page of satisfied owners. Some years ago, I bought the Mutazu king tour pak. Although I've put a few thousand miles on it, I'm still not crazy about their quality.

Which either way you go with the color, get 'em pinstriped afterwards... surprising how much of a difference that little bit of detail makes.
I went with the 4 1/2" extended bags too (AdvanBlack), and then had a local guy put the factory pattern pinstripe on the new bags.
Turned out perfect and I really like it... breaks up all that mass lol

Were they supposed to be a color match?

they were supposed to match the closest you can buy off the shelf. Looks like mine has a little bit of gold in it and these are pretty much bright white with pearl in them.. so it is missing the gold in it.
