Sturgis rally
#162
I was lucky enough to be able to take back roads when I left Rapid City on the return trip to Vegas. 1400 miles through rural America over 4 days on 2 lane roads through small towns, awesome scenery, and fantastic mom and pop restaurants. And when I saw a corner bar in Lingle Wyoming named "Bitches", I had to make a stop
There is nothing like a SMALL TOWN!
Any bar with a name of B!TCHS and a drive up window!!!!
Um, could a get a couple b!tchs to go please??
My luck is I would be hungry and the cook wouldn't find my humor funny.
Going to have to put that place on my drink bucket list.....

I love Lingle! Ride through it twice on our way to and from Sturgis!

Awesome. Rode there myself. The ride there and back IS half the fun! especially when you get off the interstate and onto the 2 lanes though those small towns.

Most have been to Sturgis and most who rode will all agree, the RIDE to Stugis is always fun! The open road, sun, scenery! Didn't make it this year, but a few years back I rode out/ate supper/bought a few t-shirts, and got right back on the bike and rode home. One of the best rides!
One time, I did trailer my bike out (because I was to work in the Rapid City and needed tools) and on the way out met a person who had just blown his rear tire. I pulled over and he said he called a wrecker out of Rapid City area (it was over 200 miles away) and told me the cost. I told him cancel it, unloaded my bike, loaded his bike on the trailer and said do you mind driving my truck? Keep up with me! I wanna RIDE!!! Didn't know the guy, didn't ask for a license, I wanted to RIDE... All's I can recall was he had Kansas plates on the bike and a military decal on the forks.
Unloaded his bike at the Harley shop in Rapid City!!
