I'll post some pics tomorrow of the new wrap once I'm done. I also painted the A/C black.

Congrats on the new addition to your family (the kid, not the iron). When I think of performance look, I see low to the ground and typically a uniform color. Stretched bags, change the wrap to black, the tank decal and air cleaner and it will have the look. Obviously just an opinion, at the end of the day, you have a sweet SG and you have your health to ride.

Congrats on the new addition. Cool Triumph. I got the message on dropping the facelift project, good idea IMO.

Honestly..... Doesnt look bad.... But lets be real about the performance bagger thing youre talking about.

Stock bike and it has a pipe, sissy bar, bars, a seat and some stickers on the tank..... Pretty much stuff every bagger has done. Pipe is a little much for now..... Especially seeing a stock AC and probably no tune, my guess.... Not anything Id consider going for a performance bagger.... Just putting a little money into a stock bike. Put money into it with performance goodies before saying the issue is because it has a batwing and not a shark nose.... Performance baggers eat up alot of money and focus on,,,,,,, performance, not plastic..... Its not the nose, you need to actually drop cash on performance mods.

Enjoy it, be realistic, and hopefully its around in a year.

Highwayman's... I would have eventually done everything correctly. I was just messing around with the bike until I knew all the parts I would have to buy. Ohlins front suspension and rear suspension everything a performance bagger required would've gone into this bike. After taking a step back I realized I would've preferred that look on a road glide and not a street glide. When I took that picture the bike was only about a week and a half old. Still had temporary plates I think. I'm just going to enjoy the bike this summer the way it is and call it a day. It'll be for sale soon and in the future when I go buy another touring bike it'll definitely be a road glide.

This is my only update. Not doing anything else other then cutting off the center bracket on the sissy bar since I won't be needing a pad anymore lol

Guarantee one thing, you go to pass someone and they’ll know you’ve been there!!!! Loud pipes save lives- I’ll live a little longer after just looking at those! I like’em loud. Too many deer in southeast Ky!
