Bill: What do you use to hold the tools? About 50% of the reason I bought the Windzone was not finding a decent tool roll to hold the tools I'd need.

The tool kit that came with my Road Glide has pretty much everything I've needed so far. I carry a seperate cruz tools allen/star wrench setup that gives me a little more torque than the HD screwdriver tool.

Ever THOUGHT about answearing the mans question instead of the smart #ss response? I use the Windzone, great kit that does not take up alot of room.

Didn't seem like a smart azz answer to me. He was pointing out that there is a search feature to this forum and this particular subject has been discussed at great length. Sometimes it is better to find what you need by doing a search rather than starting a new thread.

I made a tool roll out of glove leather that I sewed pouches in. It has a flap that then folds over the tools and rolls up. I then tie the roll with a leather thong.

I must be the first person to start a new thread on a topic that has already been dicussed. I really didn't want your opinion anyway. Thanks for the info on the windzone I will be getting one soon. My bike was a rental bike before I got it no tool kit onboard. I didn't know they came with one. I know alot more about purchasing something like that for next time.

As many years as I have been toting a tool kit around,as long as you stay on top of maintanence you may never need a kit.If you ever do break down,no matter how many tools you bring the one you want will be home. That's life!
