There was a thread across town that discussed this and the hourly wage for a tech as ~$12-15 bucks an hour with $17.50/hr given to Doc whom is a Veteran of tuning. Good luck in your venture. Whether this is accurate or not is beyond me.

that seems way off. most techs starting off are in at around 10 bucks an hour....
a great seasoned tech will get comission usually 40-50% of flat rate.
If Doc is only getting hourly he needs to find another career or dealership

If it doesn't pay anymore than that no wonder you hear so many horror stories of folks having their bikes worked on at the dealership.

BTW.......As nvsteve pointed out, Doc's hourly wage waswhen he was working at a dealership in his past life however many moons ago. My punctuation was incorrect, as I was attempting to let the masses know Doc was a Veteran tuner, not necessarily what a Veteran tuner makes per hour........even though it may apply.
