and you still wanted one, what would you get? There are some other great ones out there. Think out of the box a minute. I have a non-Harley touring bike and I'll tell you what it is if this thread gets going. Just for fun ya know...

It would be an older model gold wing. If i'm going to ride rice, I want the best.

But that is only after my EG gives up the ghost totally!

Probably the Gold Wing, maybe a Yamaha Venture (I think that's what they are called).

Rented an 02 Goldwing in The Netherlands in 2002 - could not find a Harley... A Great ride - but just did not sound like a MC should... But if ALL Harley Touring bikes were gone... I would go to the Honda in a heart beat... However, For now,, My FLHTCI sounds and rides like a MC should...

PS - The wife loved the key fob tourpac opener way too much on the Honda

I'd buy an orange screamin eagle vrod and put one of those roadglide fairing kits and saddlebags on it. Hell, you guys wouldn't even notice the difference after a couple beers.

Terry

P.S. What the hell is a Goldwing?

I'd drive my truck. No Harley....no ride. Nuff said.

You could always get a good used Harley but to respond to the question -- probably a BMW.
