JNR Air Suspension vs Pro Action Shocks
Narrowed down between JNR air suspension and pro action for my 2018 SGS (hard candy)
I also have a 2018 heritage classic and the softail rides like a cadillac while the tourer is a hard tail.
I'm about 175 and ride solo mostly.
I'm looking to get the same feeling of plush but controlled from the heritage.
Has anyone had experience between the 2?
I like the air ride because I'm 5"8 and having it lowered helps with city riding, which is the majority of my ride

Can't have it both ways. Lowered ride means less suspension travel, hence a harder ride. Air rides always present their own compromises but dropping air pressure will get your feet planted on stops. Gotta decide for yourself which is more important, plush ride or feet planted.
Or you could get a lowered, narrowed seat w/PA shocks and not have to choose.

I'm the same height as you and absolutely love my JNR Air setup with their touring shocks. Call JNR and talk to them with your goals in mind, they really are a great company. I ride roughly at the same height as my stock SGS adjustable shocks. The ride is way better than I had with stock. And when needed I air it out to push it around. For me it's really the best of both worlds.

I installed JNR air ride yesterday an so far I'm very happy with the ride. I removed some 12" progressive 444's an the JNR set up rides better at a slightly lower ride height. I"m 5'8" 220 by the way. years ago I had the "DIY" air ride set up with regular monroe air shocks an it was rough. JNR revalves the shocks for MC use. I have the ride repeater but I'm not currently using it, but I am using the fast air tank. If I did long distance rides to other states an stuff I might not be comfortable with air ride, worrying about a leak or failure but my riding lately is a few hour rides on the weekend at most.
