Default Which seat for SGS?

Not sure which seat I have on there, now. It’s not bad but looking for something a little more comfortable. The airhawk helps quite a bit. Considering Mustang and Ultimate. Any suggestion? I’m 6’, 210lbs and 32” inseam. Best pic I have at the moment of my bike/seat.

The Corbin 'Classic Solo' looks great on this bike.

That is the stock seat. There are so many choices. Solo or two up? Do you want to be able to use a backrest? Do you need to be back farther? Short rides or touring? A little more detail will get you better suggestions

We are very close to the same size, 5’11” 210lbs, with a 32” inseam.
Mustang Super Touring sets you back about 2” and is a very wide seat, 19” I think. It also has a nice wide area for the passenger and can be purchased with or without a rider backrest. Mustang Super Touring Solo sits you back 1.75” and is a little more narrow about 17”. It can be ordered with or without a rider backrest and you can order different size passenger seats. I’ve had both of these and currently have the ST Solo with custom red stiching. They will take a few hundred miles to break in but they get more comfortable as you ride. I don’t have any experience with the Ultimate so I can’t offer an opinion.
When purchasing a seat that sits you back further, like the Mustang, it is compaired to a stock seat that comes on a full touring bike like an ultra classic. Having a SG the seat will not set you back an additional 1.75” - 2” but should offer a much better level of comfort.
One other note is check with you local dealer to see what seats they have that you can demo. Also there may be some HD dealers or Indy’s in your area that have Mustang, Ultimate and others. This is a great way to help make the decision before dropping a lot of $$$.

Solo or two up? Mostly solo but do 2 up also. Do you want to be able to use a backrest? Yes, need backrest for driver and passenger. Do you need to be back farther? A little further back would good...an inch or so. Short rides or touring? Both.

Check out Corbin seats. Lots of options. I've had then on 3 different bikes, and found them to be very comfortable.

I recently picked up a Harley Davidson Hammock seat for my RG and it has been very comfortable, especially considering the suspension on these bikes are for show not go. The wife loves it too when she is on the back.

Mustang wide tripper... it's not plush but it's not barebones either. Somewhere in the middle. Looks great and for me it's very comfortable and I'm coming off a Ultimate seat on my heritage
