Default 2007 Ultra Classic

Whata sweat box this is!. When I saw this bike on the floor, I said "wow, gotta have it"! It is beautiful, but my god is it hot. Supposely there is a "SERT"chip they are going to install. Hopefully this isn't a stall tactic. I understand this is a big problem??

what is a big problem????? a SERT in a 2007 Ultra???? No issues that I know of with a SERT in an '07 Ultra... I think there are thousands of 'em out there on the roads.

Also.... what do you mean "stall tactic"?

it does get a bit hot, especially in traffic in florida. by sert chip, that probably is the map download for your EFI, along with pipes and an intake, this will cool it down some. as many people will chime in the 07 run lean or hot. Why? to conform with EPA guidelines.

If you want the bike to run cooler there area fewthings you must do

1. Take off the lower fairings during the summer time. They block the air that is meant to cool the motor
2. Install an air cleaner kit (SE, Arlen Ness, etc)
3. Install a free flowing exhaust system
4. Install a fuel managment system (SERT, PCIII, or something similar)
5. Find a good dyno tuner to tune your fuel managment system

Do these things and you will have a cooler running bike, with more Horsepower, more Tourque, and a bigger smile on your face.

NOT A STALLING TACTIC. TAKE YOUR BIKE IN AND GET THE FREE DOWNLOAD THAT CAUSES THE BACK CYCLINDER NOT TO FIRE AT CERTAIN HIGH LEVELS OF HEAT. BETTER STILL GET THE KURYAKYN SADDLE SHIELDS OR THE HARLEY ONES. THE PERFORMANCE MOD SUGGESTED HERE ALSO WILL WORK BUT IS EXPENSIVE. YOU CAN ALSO GET COOL THIGHS FROM THAT WEB SITE AND THEY WORK WELL. I HAVE USED THEM NOW FOR 2 YEARS.

The kuryakyn saddle shields work great, no more roasted legs
