Default 2007 Street Glide cutting out

I have a 2007 FLHX. Hooker slip-ons, K&N air cleaner. Between 2400 and 3100 RPM's, it cuts out and sputters. It wakes up with accelerations and it's never had any problem starting or idling. I've put it new plugs, throttle position sensor and no luck. It's been doing this for 2500 miles, so gas shouldn't be a factor.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

No clue. I wonder about fuel pressure regulator or pump. Not based on anything. Coil, I am thinking would have some low RPM stalls.

My 2007, I had some different fuel delivery issues, I replaced everything in the tank. Figured was good maintenance. Went away. Granted easier to spend other peoples money.

Thanks for the info. I replaced everything in the tank a few thousand miles ago.

The bike runs fine at high and low RPMs. It's that mid-range where it sputters.

No error codes ? Crank Position Sensor comes to mind . My friend had similar issues and that was the fix . You can try cleaning it off and see if the symptoms go away or improve . A lot of gunk can build up on it and give false readings . Hope this helps !

Thanks for the advice on the crank position sensor, I think that did the trick!!

I pulled the plug and wiped it down, then disconnected the other side and sprayed with electrical cleaner. It still sputters a touch, probably just a little more gunk in there. I put about 120 miles and noticed a world of difference

Cleaned the o2 sensor too, just for good measure. The CPS looked a little grungy, the o2 sensor looked clean
