Default Oil temp gauge 1.5" I need one

Hello all, I am in the middle of a project to add oil temp and pressure gauges to the tach on the nacelle of my Road King, ordered most of the parts needed from Chicago HD and shipment aqrrives without temp gauge and note that says Harley has had made part obsolete. Here is the problem for me, I would like to have the gauges all match the stock speedo and tach I added in 04 along with the oil pressure gauge I just received and after speaking with local dealers they too have no luck producing one. Does any aftermarket companies make a gauge that matches or does anyone have a gauge they want to part with?? If I have to I would just get matching oil temp and pressure and leave the tach and speedo. Also wondering why Harley made the temp gauges obsolete, do they not want to have us aware of engine temps? Hello again nevermind about this as my local dealer went above and beyond for me and found one, much praise to Halls in ChicoCa.

the temp guage caused a lot of problems with leaking where the sensor goes into the rubber elbow and Harley did not want to deal with the complaints. I have one in my das and my dealer disconnected it and replaced the elbow hoses to get rid of the leaking problem.

I was wondering why they discontinued it, thanks. I plan to run the sensor in the pan the way it has been described here by other forum members.

Side note, I thought Hall's was in Chico and Guidera's was in Yuba City. I'm curious which one you meant.
