I stopped by the dealer and talked tothe service managerabout my CD player skipping....he didnt even bat an eye and said " ok cool I'll order a you a new one, it will be here at the end of the week"

Has there been a rash of problems with these things?

You'll get a better one...They tried telling me my speakers were shorted out the first time....Then it was a programming problem..Finallt after a year,I got my new Radio..Then traded it in 2 days later..LOL...

 

My is in the shop as we speak and is getting a new one. My display keeps goig out.

 

I had something that looked like water spots behind the screen. Got it replaced but at a second dealer. Had trouble getting an answer out of my local dealer, keep putting it off.

 

Is this a problem with 07 models?

 

Yes it is a problem with 07 models. My CD player in my SG didn't work when I picked it up last month. They just ordered me a new one.

 

Just so you know you don't get a "new" one, you get a refurb (read-someone else already had problems with it and maybe they fixed it). My 07 SG was less than 4 hours old when I noticed a problem and I was extremely pissed to find out they were putting a refurb on my brand new 20k bike. calls to the MOCO fell on deaf ears and I am in the process of filling complains with the BBB and consumer protection agency... I will say that my new (used) radio they put in has not had a problem yet but it still does not change the fact that my new bike has a refurb radio!
