2007 touring models,

From what I can gather the unit looks to be 'auto' adjusting (spring loaded). My service manual makes no mention of adjustment, only installation/replacement.
Just want to make sure I'm not ignoring a critical item.

That's correct. The 07's have the auto tensioner on them. If you look at your primary cover you don't have the 4 bolt insection cover that'sabout dead center in the primary coverlike the 06's and earlier bikes have.
