Default Street Glide 2012 vs 2013

Hello, I have a 2015 Softail Slim but I'm looking to get something more comfortable for my girl to ride on the back. I want a Street Glide and I'm looking to break even after selling, so with my price range I'm looking at 2012-2013 models..I can't afford the 14'. Is there a difference between the 12' and 13', other than I think engine choice in the 12'? I'm looking at one of each- the 2012 has the 103 motor and 1,300 miles, and the 2013 has 9,000 miles and is a few hundred $ more but is local. If this was a car I would usually be opting for the newer year despite mileage. Thoughts?

If it’s the same model, it’s the same bike.
No significant changes. Both are extremely low miles.

both are super low miles. The 12 with 1300 may be so few that non use becomes an issue. It goes without saying that any used bike needs a careful inspection. I'd usually go with the lower miles but the ability to inspect locally might win out in this case. If the local bike is in good shape I wouldn't second guess it. Overall, condition not mileage or year is how I'd make the decision in this case.

I'm not sure if/when the 103 was standard, but on my 2011 the 103 was optional.

Factory 103 also includes ACR's... FWIW.

I have a 2013 SG and I love it. I specifically bought a pre-2014 to avoid CANBUS. That's just my preference.

Anyways, I believe the 2012s have crappy voltage regulators. It's been mentioned here a bunch and I personally know someone who's voltage regulator went out last year on his 2012. Both are good years IMO.

I believe 2012 also has the improved compensator so I would definitely choose a 2012 and up.
