Hi all,
I've put about 4k on a 130B/70/19 Chrome on the front of my Road Glide Special. I used 1 bottle of Ride-On for balance and she rides smooth as glass. Handles great, haven't been in a big rain storm but quite happy with it. BTW rear is a Commander II. Next rear I'll try the Chrome based on front...YMMV.... goldie

I agree. I just replaced my rear tire. I have a '14 SG. Took my time and had it out in about an hour and a half. $60 to mount the new tire and back on in two hours. Gotta have a jack though.

Default New cobra chrome on my Road Glide Issue

For First ride on my new cobra chromes highway speed at 70 front wheel felt like it was moving side to side at 90 I thought I was going to crash. bike has 6,000 miles no issues prior to changing tires.
I believe the front tire is bad I need to get it off immediately.

The Chrome is the successor to the previous Cobra, so you made the right choice - and a good one at that!

while unfortunate, it does happen. to all makes/brands of tires. I loved my avon chromes when I had them on my last bike and will go with them when I need to replace these tires.

good luck getting your tire replaced under warranty. first though, check to make sure that pressures are set right, and everything is installed correctly. avons like a few psi more than stock.

Very true - check the Avon website for recommended pressures.

Default Avon Cobras

Put a set of Cobras on a year ago before the Chrome was introduced. I really like Avon tires, great grip, traction, handling and ride quality. Got 9k out of the last set which is fine. I rather have the above qualities in a tire than all out mileage. When this set goes, I'll get the Chromes. What's interesting is the new Michelins 3's have the same tread pattern as the Cobras. It appears Michelin must of did some comparison testing with Avon. Take a good look at both tires and it sure looks like the same tread pattern.
