It wasn't a recall, it was a Service Bulletin. If your bike exhibited certain rideability problems (can't remember which off the top of my head) the dealer would upgrade fromt he stock 8 degree injectors to the 25 degree injectors
Good luck getting them swapped. The dealer will put you through the meat grinder and throwso muchBS at you to get you to go away, that you'd rather have the injector problem than the stress of dealing with these meatheads.
I had a problem where it would stall when I wen to take off. If it warmed up for 1 minute or 1 hour it did the same. Almost dropped it a couple times. Told the dealer and they changed. Did call 2 other dealers before I took it to where I bought and they both tried to give me sh*!.
Tested the water at the dealership...Told them bike coughed and almost died. I knew about the injector issue, I just played stupid. When I went to pick up bike, they had changed the injectors based on the service bulletin. NOT ALL DEALERSHIPS ARE RUN BY DICKS!!! Mine is great and has been for the last 15 years of dealing with them.
