Default Rear brake switch connector issues

Gents,

recebtly, my rear tail light and turn signals stopped working. After checking I found it to be the fuse. Replaced it and all good. But then when I hit the rear brake. Popped fuse again.

Checked underneath and say one of the connectors dangling. Reconnected it and good to go.... for a few miles. Same issue. I can’t get the thing to stay in place (connected). It looks like my exhaust bracket (bassani 2-1) is rubbing in it and causing it to come loose.

Any tips?? I’m at a loss here.

Thanks!

Its just a stake on plug, right?

Slight squeeze with a pair of pliers should do it.

Then some zip ties to keep it clear.
