Cool Yeah I was going to order that kit from HD along with a gloss black shifter lever.

I was wandering how the bearings on the other end of the shaft come out? I'm a 2007 model ?

Which shaft are you inquiring about, the main shaft?

Tranny shifter shafts have been a leaker for Harley. Got better when they went to double lip seal around 2005. Lots of work to get at $1.5 seal. So last time I had primary off I chaged it, was around 57k. Was about to fall apart. When it gets to that point real hard to get a grip to get out, and real hard to clean out hole.

Was installed backwards at the factory.

My 07 had 2 inner primary bearings fail. So this time I went to a one piece Baker. Will see if better. Had to remove race from shaft. My 01, replaced the bearing at 34k, since I had it open. 78k still good. Bad bearings from Harley? Other issues?
