Is anyone else having a problem getting Dunlop rear tires,MU85b16 .Up here on the east coast of Canada ,a lot ofthe dealers seem to have them on back order,and they aren't sure when they will have them.

 

For whatever reason, Dunlops have been in short supply for ALL touring bikes - HD's ta Wings. Rumor has it that that's one reason HD went ta Michelin in '08....

 

Pretty sure Dunlops are still coming on all H-D models. Michelin is available in the parts dept. as an option.

 

Not had any trouble by mail order.

Dunlop was on strike back in the winter , they probably haven't got supply up to meet demand since they have come off strike.

 

There has been a large back order of Dunlop white walls because of their strike. I believe they are starting to catch up on orders now.

Funny - seems ta be "hit an' miss". Some areas have plenty of tires, others are constantly out. My thinking is shaded a LOT from years on Wings, who have had mixed results from Metzler tires, but generally have seen delamination issues on 'em...

FINALLY got this out after SIX error messages!!! This is gettin' old quick!

 

I put two new Dunlop white walls's on my Ultra end of May and then needed a new rear one cause of a blow out on a tripand had no problem getting replacement.
