"Not a problem for me now but in the future?"

I'd rather go for a smaller, lighter bike, like a Dyna or Softail, before I'd get this.

 

There are other systems out there. Some of which can even pick the bike up after a fall.

there are multiple reports in various forums of this specific landing gear breaking/collapsing in use. its design does not handle side thrust well. It is unable to compensate for uneven or unlevel ground. The small wheels will not roll over debris or through a small hole well.
