Default Just bought 4.5” extended bags, one side loose

I just purchased some extended bags for my 2015 RGS. Bags look great and symmetrical, seem to be of good overall quality. However, the right bag has some play in it. I have bagger bolts to hold them on, those are tight and secure. The play is more noticeable when you grab the bottom of the bag and pull upward. The left side doesn’t do this. I’ve looked at all I can think of and can’t find the cause.
Anyone have any ideas as to what may be the source of this?

Got both the rubber bushing, for a lack of a better term, in the grove on the bottom of the bag that rest on the bag support?
Only other thing I can think of is it’s not sitting solid on them because the holes, where the bag bolts hold them on at the top, are holding them up a bit high. What brand?

I had a similar problem. I had neglected to replace the saddlebag support cushions.

I appreciate the suggestions. I too had forgotten the rubber cushions but put those on and still have some play in the right bag. It looks like it’s seated well on the support, but when I pull up from the bottom of the bag, there is still some play. I don’t have it on the other side though. These bags came from Colton Customs and seem to be pretty good quality.

I appreciate the link. When I get back I’m going to give this a try. It’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t, the bolts will hold them secure. Just don’t want any paint to rub from too much movement.
