Asking for input on a good replacement seat for a basically stock 2011 FLHTCU Ultra Electra Glide. Any comments of pros and cons on a replacement seat from people that have replaced the stock seat would be welcome. My stock seat is in need of replacement. I don't need a tall seat or extended reach seat, just a standard seat replacement. This is my daily rider and will take it on overnight and longer trips. Any input or insight from the group will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help !!!

 

Need of replacement because wearing out or you want something different? If stock has worked for you and just needs replacing, can find stock take offs cheaper than buying new seat. If you want something more comfy but not too expensive, the HD Sundowner or HD Hammock seats would be a good choice to look at.

 

I just sent my BMW K1600 seat to Russell Day Long. Had I known about them before I would have sent my Ultra Classic seat in as well. I spent so much money and time trying to get the seat right on Harley... Russell Day Long is amazing

 

Thanks! I am looking for something close to stock. I also do not want to spend $400 - $500 for a seat that is not a least as good as the stock seat. I will check out the two suggestions you mentioned.
