The gaskets in my picture are not the cone type. Thet are a thick flat ring.
How should they be installed? You can clearly see they are smaller than the port and won’t fit snug. I would think they would mash up unevenly when the pipes are installed.

Thankd for sny help.

I don't know what they are for, maybe a Street, likeDTTJ said, but those are the wrong gaskets, no matter what pipes you have. No matter the part number on the package either,I've seen wrong parts in packages before.

I have no idea what Street gaskets look like but from what I see in the pic those gaskets are for the wrong engine.

ETA.....I bet parts girl interpreted SE as in wanting Street gaskets.

I checked my spares and a take-off head, and reread your op and looked at the photos again...you are correct, they should fit snug and these look like they are the wrong size for your engine.

I’ve got a set of OEM gaskets. Been in the freezer for about 8hrs.

Gonna cost thevoutside VERY lightly and the inside of port with anti seize.

Wish me luck...

Those small gaskets are for a Harley Street 500 or 750 engine with smaller exhaust ports.

The gaskets that came with my Fuel Moto Jackpot are squish type and go in and seal very easily. No need to freeze I just dabbed on a little grease to keep them in place while installing the headpipe.
