Default Largest Tire Size for 2018 Street Glide front Tire

My brother has a 2018 Street Glide with the stock front tire and I was wondering what the largest (tallest) tire size I could use without interfering with the fender or rim? The roads here in Michigan are terrible and wanting a taller tire to soften the ride a little. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Michigan has the worst roads I have ever traveled. I spent a month in the Auburn Hills area and I am not sure I would ride a bike if I lived there. Travel safe!

Put a 23’ or maybe even a 26’ and ride without the fender....start a new bare front end trend.....yea, be a trend setter.

Thanks, but no big rims for me, I see folks riding with those large rims and you can’t tell me it doesn’t affect the handling of the motorcycle. I prefer stock Harley rims.

Get some tires a wheals off of a ultra. Rear tire is the same, but the front rim is a 17 verses a 19 which gives you more sidewall.

That looks like the best option, now I have to start looking for a like new set, hopefully I can find a set someone took off to replace with some fancy wheels and might get lucky and even have new tires on them?

they are out there....I've seen them on craigslist an ebay an in the classifieds on here. I've considered going to a 17" front for more sidewall too. If you find a good deal on a front you can look for a rear for later.

Check out the Classifieds here. There are stock touring seats for sale most of the time.
