Default H/D tall boy seat or Mustang touring seat?

I ride a 06 RKC w/a mustang solo seat w/backrest and love it.Now my old lady wants to ride w/me(once and a while)so I bought the H/D driver back rest and detachable sissy bar and slapped on my stock seat.Well that pretty much sucked (felt like I was sitting on the handle bars)and took that seat off.I'm thinking of getting either the mustang pillow or plain two up touring seat or the H/D tall boy seat (I'm 6',225lbs) Can anyone advise which one would be the more comfortable seat.I know everyone different,I just want to get some opinions.Thanks.

I just sold my 3 month old Mustang regal 2 up seat becaquse it moved me forward too much. I bought the Mustang solo with rider backrest and I have a detachable passenger sissy bar and also a detachable tour ak with backrest for trips. I am comfy and everyone else is also. I believe any Mustang seat is better than any HD seat, JMO

I put the tall boy seat and electra glide bars on my '99 Road King. The seat moves you back 1/2" and up 1 1/4". It let me look over my windshield and had great back support. Most important for your situation is that the passenger seat is wide and plush. It made passenger comfort with the detachable back rest ideal.

I have a Tallboy for mine and it is a very comfortable seat for me on long rides, did over 900 in 16 hours and another 2100 or so in the next 5 days. It is a big ugly sucker though and I take it off for anything but long, over 400 mile rides and use the stocker, been planning on sending the stocker to MeanCity. I am 6'2" with a 33" inseam.

After going back and forth on wheather to go w/a two up mustang seat or just get a mustang passenger seat or go w/a H/D tall boy seat I decided to send my stock RKC seat to Mean City Cycles and have Allen mod it out to the way I want my seat to fit me.I was not in the mood to shell out big $$$ on another seat that I was not going to be satisfied with (especially since I was doing this for the once and a while that my lady wants to ride w/me.When I'm riding alone I'll keep my Mustang solow/backrest on) So thankyou all for your advise and opinions.I'll let you know how this seat turns out.If any one has had this done would you let me know how you liked/disliked it,thanks.

I think you are making the right move. At 6', I too tried the Tall Boy -- but it made me feel like I was sitting on top of the bike instead of "in" it (if that makes sense). And I also found that it magnified the need to change out the stock handlebars -- something I'm doing soon anyway.

So back it went to the dealer, and I had a custom seat made for me by Russell Day Long seats in CA. Great job, and cheaper than Mustang and Corbin. And I ride loooooooooooooong rides.....

I am 6'6" 240 pounds with a 37" inseam. I have the HD Badlander seat on my 2001 FLHTCI and LOVE it. I also had the floorboards moved forward, put the extended brake pedal and extended shifter on (I took off the heel part and only use the toe shifter). I have tons of room, am very comfortable, and change off to the tall boy seat only when the wife hops on the back. Seat makes me to high in the sadd;e and looks fuggley on the bike.
