That also tells me it's a bad tire.Warped rotors should be felt in the lever. what if you let off the front as you slow,and just use the rear to stop? That's the right way to stop,anyway. Use the front and rear to get down to say, 3 or 4 mph,then rear brake to a full stop. Using the front for a full stop is asking for a dropped bike.
