Building a riders backrest for my CVO Low Profile Seat
#11
Today’s update:
Finally got some seat time on it, and all works well, just need to do some fine tuning.
Was a little higher and was pushing me forward a little more than I liked, so to start, I bent the top piece back to angle the pad some, so it a more natural position for me, and lowered the pad height about an inch and 1/4.
Feels good sitting in the garage, but will need to be ride tested to get the final verdict. If if it still needs to go back some, I have a plan with some additional bends to get it just right.
Only snag I ran in to is the top threaded sleeve popped out of the pad. Going to try the simple stuff first and will try to super glue it in there. But not gonna play with that too much until I get the seating /pad position just right.
It it may take a few tweaks before it’s completely done.
It it is however much better with it than without, so I’m moving in the right direction.
