Default Average cost for an indy shop to provide/install 14" bars with chrome controls, master cylinder, stainless steel cables 03 RK?

Hey all,

What do you think a ball park cost would be for an indy shop to provide/install 14" bars with chrome controls, master cylinder, stainless steel cables 03 RK?

So bike has stock bars now and black controls, getting new bars from the shop, all cables and all chrome controls etc.?

Parts+Labor

I've looked at different kits and different bars, but if you had a shop just provide everything and do it, what should that run?

Thanks.

Bar choice would affect it some as there are options from reasonable to insane. But I'd figure $1500 off the top of my head. A lot of money just in parts and a the better part of if not a whole days labor.

Thanks for the feedback, just wanted to check with some people who may have done it, or had some idea what it might run to check my sanity lol... lot of jack but i have to get taller bars, and if I'm gonna do it, I might as well do it the way I want it done...

Yep it all depends on what bars you go with. Costs on them can be anywhere from $200 to $700, cable and wire extension kits $300 range, then add in all the extra chrome you want to add and you're close to $1000 just in parts. I had a local indy quote me at $350 just for the install and I feel like that was on the cheap side but I did it all myself and saved some money. It was a pain in the *** but well worth it in the end!
