Just checking in as a new member. Have to confess I've been monitoring for a while. Just transitioned from a SuperGlide Sport to StreetGlide. To say the least, I had no idea how big the difference would be. Managed to add a few things here and there, getting the miles up as fast as I can. This bagger thing is allright! Looking forward to participating and taking in your wise counsel! Hooah, Mark

Welcome, ride carefully, watch your speed in that dam state, easy to forget how fast you are going now. Had a Yammy special in 81 in Ft Ord Ca back in the day, thought it was the biggest bike I would ever own.

About as far away from D.C. (moved last year) as we can get and still be near the daughter--! Up in the mountains up against the Blue Ridge Parkway west of Charlottesville. Real people, great riding, life is good!

Howdy OldArmy, welcome to the HDF, that goes for you to aclass. We were down your way last week-end, touring thru the mountains off Rt.56, Rt.43 & the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Went over the mountain, west of I-81 to Harrisonburg, then into W,Va.

Beautiful weather & riding, love the southwestern part of out state.

Old Army, Welcome,

I have been to Crozet, And I am coming that way in a few weeks. The wife and I are riding from Indiana to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Trying to decide which way to go.
May take HWY 50 to Winchester then south to Fancy Gap. Or may go through KY and go North to Winchester and the back West.

You are going to love it here.

Welcome OldArmy. I also was in your neck of the woods last week, riding all around that area. Stayed at the KOA south of Charlottesville, and went through Nellysford at least a couple of times. Especially liked route 56 up and over the Blue Ridge and down the other side. Very scenic. Considering I live in congested Northern Virginia (like Towpro) and have to ride at least an hour to find a decent road, I'm envious of you being able to ride on great roads in your back yard.

Welcome again!
