RE: crash bars?
I pulled the crash bars off of my RK and put on the Kuryakin Mark IV cruise arm for hiway pegs. IMHO it looks waaay better than with the crash bars on, and the extra legroom is outstanding. Now if my floater bars wil ever get off of backorder I'll be able to remove the rear crash bars as well. I know the crash bars are good protection and all, but I really can't stand how they look. To each his own.

RE: crash bars?
Another vote for no crash bars. Just don't like the look. Removed 'em first day on my 07 SG and like bigbrokahalso use the Kuryakyn Mark IV Cruise Arm, which will provide same protection on the front if bike is dropped. Haven't dropped a bike in 37 years of riding. After I say that, it'll probably happen today... If I do, I'll either repair/paint or replace the plastic stuff...
