Default fork baffle and deflectors - big difference on RKC

Installed chrome fork baffle (58520-79TC) and chrome fork wind deflectors (58121-85B) on my '07 road king classic. Made a big difference in updraft wind. No more shirt blowing up, no more beard blowing up and whipping at my face. I ride with windshield on.

Be sure to check where the wind is coming from before so you can see the difference - while you're riding hold your hand out open and move it around and you can feel how strong it is around the tank and neck and coming up by your legs and waist.

Anyhow, worked for me. I recommend both for anyone having wind issues on a fairing-less bike.

When installing the fork wind deflectors make sure you have them flipped right so that they don't bang on your highway bar.

My 2000 RK came with the baffle. I took it off to see what the ride was like without it, and put it right back on after a couple of days. It makes a big difference.

Got both of those parts on my '07 RK and was very pleasantly surprised at the difference they made! Highly recommended!

What is the baffle your referring to, I know what the fork deflectors are but is the baffle that little scoop that mounts under the bezel or fairing between the forks????

Sure.

Here's a picture of the chrome fork baffle on my road king. It's the upside down scoop in the middle of the picture that the brake lines are running up underneath. This picture is taken looking at the neck with the camera resting on the right side engine guard. (kept getting errors trying to upload the pic to the forum so it's hosted somewhere else)
