Default RK High Bars

does anyone know if the RK High bars PN# 55954-00 will fit a 06? the web site says 96'-01' should I be concerned about the year? I called the dealer and they were no help, their answer was if the books says 96'-01' then it will not fit your bike, they said they would have to special order bars for me (yeah right). i know I have read posts where people have put either these or heritage bars on their RKC (not sure what years they were though). I just want to make sure they fit before i place the order. thanks

I put these on my 2006 Road King FLHRI. No problems with installation. No need to change wires or cables.

I've also put them on my '06 FLHRI Road King shown below. Sorry that photo is old and not with the these bars installed in that photo!

But, just as RKGarystates, the cables do "Not" need to be adjusted, either does the wiring.

These seem to give me about 2 inches raise over stock and come back about 2 inches as well.

They keep me from craning forward and getting a back ache on a long trip.

Now I just lean back and enjoy.

I have them on my '06 RK Classic. Like RKGary said, no problems with cables. They're about 5" or so higher and for me provide much needed leg room.

Same here. I put them on an '06 RK Classic about 2 months ago. What a difference. No cable or brake line change. I'm 5' 10' andwear a 33" long sleeve shirt. The bars fit perfectly. Just came back from 2 250 mile days and no more back cramps.

I installed them on my '04 RK with no problems. They eliminated all my back pain problems I would get on long rides.
