Default 2019 Noisey

Was at the local dealer today and they were pulling in some brand new M8s. I was at the far side of the showroom and heard the door to the shop part open and they pulled in this Streetglide. At least I think it was. Had an interesting sound to it. I could hear the valvetrain. Not any ticking or knocking but almost that really fine sewing machine sound. Granted it was inside a building and that may have amplified it but sort of got my attention. I didn't expect that. Beautiful bike though.

All the M8 engines have internal counterbalancers now. On twincam engines, only the B versions had them. That's what you were hearing.

My '17 FLTRXS was noisy first time I rode it. (small rocks in a can sound)
SM said it was normal for the M8.
I only put 3300 miles on the noisy thing until the Trans oil transfer claimed it.
The '18 FLHTCU I traded for is really quiet........
