Default EBC Brakes Pads

I am replacing my brakes with EBC. I know in the past when replacing with Harley pads, the back brake pads come with paste, do I need to use this or not worry about it. If so what are folks using

Thanks

EBC worked good for me but we’re squeeky as hell. I’m back to OEM

What I use - anti squeal adhesive shims cut to fit the back of your pads.

A small bead of RTV works well. The squeal is actually a high frequency vibration that RTV or shims usually absorb.

I put on EBC's a couple years ago, and unless there was some goop included in the packet, I didn't use anything other than what they included.

I put disk brake grease on the back of mine, I also clean my pins or replace them and use the same grease on them as well..I only use EBC.

what he said, thin film of high temp brake grease is all you need, Permatex makes a spray which works well too. Spray on back of pads, let it sit 30 minutes and you'll never hear a squeak from pads floating around.

A light touch of anti squeal on the back of the pad, and a light lube where the pads glide on the sides.
If someone does nothing but replace the pads dry, they deserve squealy brakes.
EBC is what I use, and never a problem.
Be sure to use what is compatible with your rotors.
