Default Why is this helpful? EZ install bars...

It says they are larger diameter so that helps.

It says the point at top is rounded and not an actual weld point, which helps. (although doesn't look real good)

It is neat how they put them back together I guess...but what is the benefit???

Why is having the bars separate into 2 pieces beneficial to installation?

P.S. Not considering purchasing. I love the bars I have, and don't love these. I'm just really trying to understand the benefit of having them be 2 pieces and can't figure out what that benefit is.

Easier for them to Pack and maybe less shipping cost.

yes, that! If you’ve ever run wires through bars with sharp turns, it can be a real bitch. This would make running wires a 5 minute job!
Can’t see the bars through the packing wrap so not sure what they look like. Could make them in lots of styles with the same connection method.

I listed a few things in my original post that I thought made them easier. #1 the larger dianer helps. #2 it being bent pipe with a more rounded corner, instead of a welded joint, helps.

But I was asking other than that. I was asking specifically about them being made as 2 pieces that puzzle together.

Why does it make anything easier that they are two pieces?

My '72 Sportster had two piece bars.[and internal throttle cable.[stock factory bars.] Were they dangerous?
