Auxilary Lights on Road King Custom
Hi all - I havea 2007 Road King Custom and I added auxilary lights to the bike yesterday (not sure how much I like the look - something looks off and I dont know why - maybe it's the rk custom handlebar cover with the visor, or maybe the handlebars). Anyway - the question I have is after hooking the auxilary lights to the auxilary light harness the lights dont work.I am assuming it's because they are switched off (I dont have an auxilary switch on the custom), is there a trick to getting them switched on without having to have an auxilary switch. Any ideas are welcome, not sure what the best way to get these running is.
Thanks
Marcus

If you look at the top, rear of each of your forks you should see switches. One of these should be on in order for the auxillary lighting to work-for me it's the switch on the back of the left fork.-Hope this helps

RE: Auxilary Lights on Road King Custom
I think the RK looks stupid without the aux lights. That is why I am adding then to my SERK. I also bought the Road King Custom chrome windscreen as it looks awesome...
My bike will look like DocPoof's Candy Cobalt CVO SERK (minus the hard bags) but he added the aux lights (the CVO's do not come with them) and the chrome windscreen.

When you buy the lights, make certain that you get the ones that allow you to change the bulbs.
They come with 27w halagon, which can be replaced with 36w or 55w bulbs.
Not only do they look good, that add great light for night riding
Will look up the bulbs numbers and post later today
Good Luck
