I have this style on my 2001 RK, but I got it without the bladder. Someone I know "appropriated" the seat when their department went to BMW's. With the two rubber bushings the T-Bar sort of "hangs" about 2" from the bladder "pocket". But the steel thickness doesn't allow for any flex. I'm just wondering if the bladder makes a whole lot of difference. There is NOT a more comfortable seat, IMO, bladder or no bladder.
If you like your seat now, you will love it with the air bladder.
Google "police solo seat kong" , I have the bladder on mine but hope to change to the Kong later so I don't have to air the bladder up every couple of days. It is the most comfortable seat I have ever used.
I think it's a bare bones, came with the bike when I got it. Will be interesting to see how comfortable it is since I know the barebones gets a bad rap on the other style bikes for comfort
