Default Boom Box GTS Touch Screen Problems

Hey guys. I just picked up a 2019 SGS. I'm experiencing some touch screen problems and was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same.

About 95% of the time when wearing gloves (and about 25% with bare hands), using the touch screen seems to register a touch on the "info" button. For instance, when I tap the navigation button from the home screen, it will open the "info" screen. This does not happen when using the hand controls, only the touch screen. Anyone else experience this? If so, is there an easy fix? Seems like it would be hardware related, but maybe it's software.

Of course, I'm going to bring my bike to the dealer to have it looked at when I get a chance, but thought I'd ask here in the mean time.

Update: I just tried using the touch screen after the bike was off for a few hours, and the problem seems to have been mitigated. The glitch happened a few times after messing with it for about 5 min, but not like before. It made me think that maybe there was some residue on the screen causing the touch errors (although nothing was visible), so I just cleaned the screen. Hopefully after cleaning it, the problem will be gone for good. I'll update if the problem returns though.

I haven't had any issues with mine. A long hold on the Home button will bring up a menu that will let you go to the info screen. But to be honest I never use the touch screen.

I only use the joysticks to navigate the screen, hope that helps you.

I've got a 2019 Ultra Limited and have had no problems with my radio. Learn something new and great every time I get to ride it.

A note to anyone interested in installing a CB radio themselves. Why I didn't have them (the Dealer) put it in the deal and install it before I took delivery is beyond me. My group still uses 40 channels...
Anyway, I bought and installed the Harley CB myself, no issues. The dealer told me and the instruction even said it as well that the radio would have to be flashed. After installing I verified it worked without doing the flash to the radio.
Today I had my 1000 mile service done and the dealer verified the radio and CB were good to go at I suspected.

Do you use the radio? How is your FM reception?

Makes me wonder if the touch screen can be recalibrated.
