Default Adjusting Spark Advance

Any PV guru's care to help me out with adjusting my spark advance to help the bike start easier? Numbers seem a little high in the upper right??

When I was tuning my 11 limited with 255 cams I went to WOT(100%) 750 and 1000 RPMs and dropped 1 degree in each cell. I'm not so sure if the 1000 cell really needed it, you could add or remove to see the diff when starting.
I had 255 cams they are hard to get the engine turning and what I did cured it.
There is a memo out some where stating that "on start up the ECU puts the timing at WOT 750 rpm's until started".
I was using a HD Super Tuner. I see your timing cells at WOT are quite a bit higher than mine were, so a reduction of one degree at a time would be in order.
I think you are sniffing up the right tree.
Have fun, and keep good notes.

Another forum member with a similar set up just sent me a MAP to compare... I’ll make some adjustments and see how it goes.

Default Quick tune

I used the quick tune feature and went to -2 on low end of scale. My bike starts right up

Worked like a champ! Fires up as soon as I hit the starter... Went for a ride and let it idle for a bit in the garage when I got back. Engine temp wasn’t as high as a 100° day but still fired up quick when I hit the starter.

Thanks for the help gents!

Can you highlight in your graphics which numbers you changed? Did the 96 motors not come with ACRs?

No ACR’s.

Dropped everything way down in the 750-1125 RPM and 70-100 KPa Range.

Super fast starts now... We’ll see what happens this summer?
