Default Service manual

I am sure this question has been asked and answered a thousand times[sm=deadhorse.gif], but which service manual is best and where is the best place to purchase? I have been riding forever, but have never turned a wrench on a scoot to amount to much. I cannot see almost three bills at the stealership for the 1k service and would like to do it myself. I am mechanically inclined and do my own work on my cages. Any help would be appreciated.

The HD manual is the best.

I have an HD service manual from the HD shop. It has served me well.

Any idea what the cost of the manual is? As with anything at HD I am sure it will be expensive. I will be in my ZEN garden awaiting a cost.

Don't remember for sure, but I think the manual for my 02 RK was around 65 from my dealer.

The H-D manual is the one to have. It's one of the best written I've seen yet. Gotta give the MOCO a thumbs up for it. The first time you are able to use the manual to save a trip to the dealer, you've got your money back.
