Did my Harley deed for the day...
I went to the local Shell station where I always fill up and there was a couple of kids (20ish). The girl was obviously pregnant and they were tipping the contents of their emergencygas can into their car. I could see by the light that the plastic gas can was empty and the look of their faces said that they werent doing to well. I asked them how far they were going and where they said they were going was about 15 miles away so I gave em some money for gas (they didn't ask, I just offered) and told em "Don't ever say a biker never did anything for you - remember the Harley nation". The kid flipped me a peace sign as I drove away.
Do I qualify as a biker now? LOL

That was nice and now maybe we will have two more people who watch out for us on the road. Remi

So here is something that would be interesting to know (and prove my theory): How many cage drivers causing accidents with motorcycles are riders themselves? I bet it's under 10%.

Twice in the recent past I have used my own money to bail out folks who ran out of gas. As a police officer it's kinda my job to help stranded folks, but I'm certainly not obligated to buy them gasoline. In both cases, there were children in the car and the parents didn't have a dime on 'em. Both were very thankful and agreed to re-pay me. Neither ever did. People suck.
