Default PCIII HELP

Just got my PCIII and am going to install tomorrow night. Couple questions.
1. the part # on the box is 812-511 and says 07 HD Touring, but on the bottom of the PCIII itself it says 805-510. I have an 06 streetglide. the PC website says I need an 807-511. Do I have the right PC?
2. What map do I need? I am installing a NESS Big sucker A/C, and RHINEHART tru-duals and exhaust pipes. The one on the website that I saw that was close said Rhineharts, SE AC, and a stock OR stage 1 ECU? Which would I need STOCK or STAGE? Am I lookin at the right ones?
3. My computer cant pull up the directions to set the throttle limits, how else can I get it.
4. Anything else you can tell me to make it go easier would be great!!!

Smurf,

Can't answer regarding the model number you need other than what the power commander website says. Where did you get it from? I do know that 812-511 is for an 07 Touring. How the other numbers relate to what you actually have is beyond me. Take it up with the vendor you got it from. I do know the ECM's are way different so I don't think putting the wrong one on your bike would be a great idea. JMHO.

As for the map, if you didn't get it from a vendor that preloaded for you (such as Jamie at www.fuelmotousa.com) then find the closest fit to start with. If you have not had the dealer "flash" the ECM for a stage one setup then you want the map for the STOCK ECM and the closest configuration match possible (S/E AC is probably fairly similar to the Ness).

The full user's manual is under the help menu in the program. You need to go to www.adobe.com and download acrobat reader (it's free). Then you'll be able to read the documentation on the unit.BTW, the fuelmotousa website does have a few quick tutorials on things like the TP setting procedure under the DynoJet Technical Info tab.

Good luck,
Lee

I got the PC from Shooter64, im sure youve seen his posts here. hes a smart guy so Im sure he sent me the right part but the #'s dont exactly match up. Was hoping someone w/experience could set me straight.

Shooter was straight up w/me and told me he hasnt used these much, he really prefers the t-max but my budget could not fit it in so thats why I need to put the download on it myself.

The P-comm website DOES match the 805-510 with the 807-511 but I want some verification from someone who has done this AND with the Rhineharts and NESS AC.

Keep the help coming

My guess is that it's the right one. IIRC, the Model # on the box and what was on the PCIII of mine were different. I had Jamie do my MAP for a SE/AC and switched over to a AN/BS no problems. They are very close to the same thing. HTH, Bryan
PS. If you want me to I can take off the saddle bag and pull the side cover to check and see if my #'s match, just say the word.

OK I already did it. My bottom main # does NOT match what the box # has on it. (Box # 802-511, botton of PCIII 801-510) I was pretty sure the numbers were different.I had the same fears as you did but fig Jamie sent me the right one. I have a 99 with M&M FI so that's why mine are different than yours.
PUT IT ON!

Since it says on the PC for 807-511, which is what you need, you should be good to go.
