I weigh about a buck 50 and am 5 feet 9 inches tall. Any insight you guys can offer would be great.
I love the looks of a Street Glide. I'm just not interested in the electronics that come with the fairing.
So I set my Road King up with a kinda sorta look.

Once I got my SG I wondered how I had made it so long without one. Good luck and enjoy the bike shopping.

It’s not so much about your overall height as it is your inseam. I’m 5’10” but have a 30” inseam... short legs. Street glide is comfortable and never felt too big even when maneuvering it in the garage barefoot lol.

I rode a metric cruiser for 15 before purchasing my first Harley. It's a 2015 Street Glide and I won't ever look back. Love the touring model. Purchased it with 3,160 miles on it on Sept 6th and have already logged right at 3,000 additional miles on it. Love my HD touring bike!

Only regret is that I did not do it sooner!

Oh and I am 5"9" but a around 190.

I have a 17 SGS and can flat foot it at 5'5. Started on a Lowrider and switched after a year and a half.

My very first Bike 3 yrs ago was the 2014 Heritage Softail ( 103 ) I did a lot of long rides on my own and loved and fell in love with riding , I knew that that habit was only going to increase so I traded up for a new 2016 Street Glide Special , I wanted a more comfortable ride and tunes , etc , I am 5' 5" , Got the stock seat shaved for my height and inseam , You cant go wrong with a touring bike for those long rides .

Just traded a 2011 Street Bob for a 2019 SG and am damn glad I did. Only have 225 miles on it so far but it rides like a dream (compared to the Street Bob). Do it, you won’t regret it.

I have an older Road King with a Memphis Shades fairing which is just a shell, no instruments. Very nimble ride. Good luck OP with whatever you choose.
