anywhere between 400~600 dollars depending on which fairing...batwing or shark nose.....give them a call real nice folks....mine came with install. $450 at the rally,maybe because it was the last day...😊😊😊
The inner fairing is a lot of work, to someone who hasn't done it before, but to all that technical. Just a matter of remembering how the harnesses are run, and the order in which you take stuff off. If you have medium skill with tools, It may take you a couple to three hours, as you will most likely go slow and try to remember all the parts and locations. The fairing guy does his in 45 minutes, (thats really fast, maybe too fast for my opinion) but hes also done a bunch of them, and has it down to a science. I would buy a fairing from either him, the fairing guy, already painted, or from the dealer. That stuff off of ebay is a pig in the poke, at best and once you have your bike apart, and the fairing is sketchy, where are you then. Also, if you are going to do it yourself, have the new fairing there, ready to install, because if you wait a few days/week, you will forget on how to reinstall it and go thru a lot more work.
As for finding yo a good deal on one, well, I wouldn't want to beat you out of your blessing of looking for one!! Hope that helps!!
That's good to know, Charlie. Due to the distance and the unknowns, I think I'll pass on that one. If I could drive two hours and inspect it, haggle a little and trailer it home, I might, but I'd hate to drive eight hours and not like what I see.

I printed out the sticky at the top of the forum and went slowly step by step. Was nervous as a ***** in church since I had never done it before and my new inner was painted. Only mistake I made was I forgot to plug the left turn signal back together. Easy fix. Check Craigslist, Marketplace and the the for sale forum here, you can pick up a used stock fairing for about $100-150. Also have never heard anything bad about Fairing Xchange. As far as black inner on a painted bike, look around, they were that way for years! Good luck!

They did mine at Myrtle Beach Bike Week last year and did excellent work.
Couldn't be happier.
I paid $499 and it took them around an hour to swap it out.
Guys I also completed my 14 rear end on my 09 UC .
Since I already had the 14 saddle bags on her I wanted to complete the rear with other 14 parts I got a really good deal on the fender supports and in chrome.
I wired the filler lights just for run only there is enough lights in the rear specially
with the tour pack.
